BLIND

AX1 Films is pleased to announce that Sundance Screenwriting Award winner BLIND from writer-director Eskil Vogt, will open in UK cinemas from 27 March 2015.

Captivating audiences at festival screenings, BLIND recently recieved its UK premiere at the 2014 BFI London Film Festival, following on from its world premiere at Sundance in the World Dramatic section. It went onto pick-up the World Cinema Screenwriting award. It has since won numerous other awards internationally including the Europa Cinemas Label for Best European film at Berlin, the New Talent Grand Pix at CPH PIX in Copenhagen, and the Golden Tulip at Istanbul.

AX1 Films is proud to confirm that writer-director Mariana Rondon’s PELO MALO ("Bad Hair") will open in UK cinemas from January 30th.

Winner of the prestigious Golden Shell at the San Sebastián Film Festival and numerous awards internationally, PELO MALO (“Bad Hair”) is a nuanced, wonderfully spirited and touching coming-of-age story from writer-director Mariana Rondón (“Postcards from Leningrad”), featuring exceptional lead performances by Samuel Lange and Samantha Castillo.
